Piana Crixia
Pian del Nasso is located in the outlying area of Piana Crixia, about 4 km from the centre. You will find two small supermarkets (with fresh bread daily), a cafe/bar, a post office, and a pharmacy. Our village also has two restaurants: Villa Carla and Ristorante Tripoli. Our small village even has its own train station and good bus connections. De Borgo
De Borgo is the old part of the village of Piana Crixia and dates back to the Middle Ages. It is well worth a visit. It is located on a ridge, from which you have beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Near the Borgo, you will find the famous Fungo (mushroom), an impressive natural monument 15 metres high, formed by centuries of erosion. From the Borgo, there is a beautifully laid out walking route.
The entrepreneurs of Piana Crixia have jointly set up a website to inform residents, visitors, and interested parties about everything happening in the village. From village festivals and yoga with “our neighbours” to new residents and interesting facts.
