Piana Crixia
Pian del Nasso is located in the outskirts of Piana Crixia, about 4 km from the center. You will find two small supermarkets (with fresh bread every day), a cafe/bar, a butcher, a post office and a pharmacy. Our village also has two restaurants: Villa Carla and Ristorante Tripoli. Our small village actually has its own train station and good bus connections.
Old Borgo
The Borgo is the old part of the village of Piana Crixia, dates back to the Middle Ages and is more than worth a visit. It is located on a ridge, from which you have a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. At the Borgo you will find the famous Fungo (mushroom), an impressive natural monument of 15 meters high, created by centuries of erosion. From the Borgo you have a beautifully landscaped walking route.
