In 2015, we received word from the owners of Pian del Nasso, Ton and Johanna, whether we would like to buy Pian del Nasso? Ton is struggling with his health which makes both prefer to return to the Netherlands. We make an offer, they a counter-offer, but our bids are miles apart. Meanwhile, I go to ‘de Nonnetjes’ in Vught to learn Italian and we go to Italy several times to view other houses (after all, aren't there more beautiful places in Italy?). But nowhere do we find a place where we feel so at home.
